Another test

Using Mail Chimp

I’ve been having spam email addresses being added to my blog as followers. I ended up cleaning them up several times a week. I finally decided that I need a way to keep this from happening so I went to Mail Chimp. They have free email lists for people like me without much traffic.

Using RSS

RSS is one way of sharing a feed. So I’m using an RSS to Email feed from my blog to Mail Chimp. Once a day they will send out anything I’ve written the day before. The problem is trying to get it working. They aren’t real intuitive, or maybe I’m losing my touch. Maybe both. But I think I’ve got it set up now. If you get this in an email, then you’ll know. If you don’t then I’ll know.

Conclusion

I hope this gets things working better again. I’d like to get back into doing more blogging. I’ve dropped my FaceBook and Twitter accounts as well as my MennoNet account. All of that just took too much time and brain energy that should have been going into my other writing.

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
